Our friendly customer - that's you! - signs up on the Verbal Ink website. Your dedicated Account Executive introduces him or herself by email and, if you’d like, with a brief phone call.
You upload your audio or video recording to our secure server, along with a few simple details about the number of speakers, how quickly you’d like to receive your transcript, and any special features you’d like to be included. At this point, you get to relax - there’s nothing left for you to do!
Your Account Executive receives the recording, gives it a quick listen, and assigns it to one of our trusty transcriptionists. If the Account Executive has any questions about the recording, they’ll give you a call or send you an email - before the transcript is started.
The transcriptionist will create a professionally formatted, impeccably accurate transcript from your recording. The transcript will be saved as a Microsoft Word document, so that you can easily search it, copy it, and share it with others.
The transcriptionist will return the transcript to your Account Executive, who will then give the transcript one final quality check. Satisfied that the transcript meets Verbal Ink’s standards, your Account Executive will email it to you, on or before the due date that you requested. At that point, your credit card will be billed and the project will be complete.
